Important Notice – 2021 State Skeet Titles

Our plans are to still run the 2021 State Skeet Titles at Melbourne Gun Club 28th-31st January.
However due to the uncertainties with COVID-19 an official decision will not be made until we have a clearer understanding of what will and won’t be permitted.  Please be assured the club will do all that it can to meet any requirements that may be necessary to make this event work.
One suggestion we would like to put forward to all Skeet shooters is that entries for this event it would be our preference to be done “ONLINE ONLY”.
The reason for this is that if the event has to be cancelled due to last minute restriction changes, our online booking system has the ability to email all shooters immediately and also refund the credit card it was booked on.
The online system will also ensure we will have the minimum requirement of shooter contact details needed at the time for government contact tracing requirements.
We realise not all shooters will have the ability to book online and of course we will help them out where we can but we also know that Skeet shooters being the close friendly lot that they are will also help their fellow shooters out who may need help to enter.
Hopefully everyone will understand this decision. It will help us ensure that we can run a great safe carnival in 2021 and we will publish the online booking link once we have a clearer picture.
