On May 27th we will also be hosting a 100tgt Skeet Handicap event supported by the ASSA and Bronze Wing Australia. Check out the separate advert on the Shooting Programs tab as this will be an awesome event.
You may also notice we are trialling practice only days on the first Saturday of each month. Continued increasing costs associated with our sport have seen the cost of targets, ammo and all the overheads that go into running the club, skyrocket over the last year. In order to address this issue and manage all competing needs, the trial of one practice Saturday in the month will keep this sport, and our club accessible to all shooters. In addition, we have a much smaller committee this year compared to previous years. This will also help to ensure we don’t burn out our hardworking group of committee volunteers, as practice days are much easier to run than competition days.
From June onwards, the first weekend of the month will see competition for Trench or UT as well as Skeet where practical (ie if a major event for these disciplines is held elsewhere we will re-schedule to avoid a clash) and practice only for DTL
