Another perfect day for shooting clay targets at Melbourne Gun Club!!!
A successful Come & Try held in the morning and it was great to see so many MGC members volunteering to help with the instructing. Thank you everyone who helped out it was much appreciated and helps us get through these in a timely manner.
5 Squads of Skeet kicked off on the Skeet Fields and there was plenty of 25's being shot!! A total of 26 clean rounds were shot with the Laporte Grand Prix clays sootin' up good and that guy Michael Buttigieg again running the 100/100 and taking the bonus cash of $100 up for grabs for shooting the card clean. Well done Michael.

7 Squads of DTL shooters competed in the days events which saw a bit of Continental Points as a warm up for the Zone Continental Championships later in the month, 30 Single & 40 Double Barrel. It was great to see Steve Fox come away with his first win and also birthday boy Rob Nash showing the B graders how its done. Happy Birthday Rob!! Darrel Williams had a good day winning OA in the first 2 events and Geoff McClure shooting well to win the Double Barrel.
