A perfect day's shooting specially in May with clear blue skies and hardly a breath of wind.
A chilly start to the morning with a full group of 25 for Come & Try. T.hank you to Jacqui and her team for looking after things with all having a great morning.
9 squads of DTL for the day competed in the 3 event program which featured 30t SB, 30t Mixed Tgts and 40t DB
The first event being the Single Barrel event is always a tough way to start the day but Riley Hughes Gage made it look easy smashing the 30/30 to take the honours and shooting his way to AA grade! Well done Riley!
30 T SB
AA: F Connon 37/40; C McDougall 36/40.
OA& A: R Hughes-Gage 30/30; J Briggs 36/38.
B: G Tueno 31/34; S Morley 30/34.
C: A Brown 26/30; S Pellegrino 25/30.
2 clean possibles in this event in Ben De Pedro and Damo Hutchins! With Ben one down going into the Points Leg of the shoot off, it looked like Damo would take it out. A full target dropped in the Points leg however saw Ben take the honours! Well done Ben. We must also wish Ben good luck as he departs on Thursday for the Junior World Cup in Suhl Germany. Good luck Ben!!!
30 MXD Target
OA& AA: B De Pedro 74/75; D Hutchins 72/75.

C: R Burgess 47/50; S Pellegrino 46/50.
6 clean possibles were recorded in the DB event, however the shadows coming across for the later squads made things more difficult. It was always going to be tough in the shoot off and after 23 targets we had a winner in Paul Haslam outlasting Fergus Connon. Well done Paul.

AA: F Connon 62/63; S Incani 59/60.
OA& A: P Haslam 63/63; T Zucchet 50/51.
