7 squads of shooters attended MGC on Saturday to compete in 50tgt Double Barrel as well as 50tgt Continental DB.
The club was delighted to see 12 C graders entered in the day’s events including some new juniors who also managed to take some wins.
Conditions while not as cold as the previous week were still far from ideal as the first event got underway. When the final squads had come in it was the 49/50’s shooting off for the OA honours.
The shoot off soon got down to Greg Hunt and Lloyd Parks who shot a further 56 targets until Lloyd was declared the winner. Great shooting!

It is worth mentioning C grade was taken out by the juniors in young Jack “the coach” Brady with a great 41/50 and 2nd in C grade taken out by Chloe Hughes-Gage! Jack only just turning 12. Well done Jack & Chloe it’s great to see new young talent coming through!!
