A cold foggy morning that hung around for a long time greeted shooters at Melbourne Gun Club today with a full house for Come & Try and 11 squads of shooters made up of 4 squads for Universal Trench and 7 squads of DTL! Not a bad turn out for Mother's Day weekend considering a lot of other shoots were on.
Thanks again to the crew who took care of Come & Try it is greatly appreciated as this is a vital part of our club.
It was tough going early in the fog but the day did clear to brilliant sunshine once it lifted.
It was great to see some club members who put a lot into the place have wins specially Paul Schroeter winning in C grade in the UT and Lynden McKeon taking B grade in the DB after shooting off for Overall. Also well done to Leni for her great 35/40 in the DB and grabbing a 2nd place!! Well done guys.
