A hot summer's day with the mercury reaching the high 30's didn't deter the 71 shooters making their way out to shoot the DTL and UT events.
The DTL was a great program for those heading to Bairnsdale next weekend with 25pts, 50 DB and 25tgt Handicap. The UT was fantastic, being sponsored by Paul, Liz and Jacko Schroeter for Jacko's House of Pain with 100tgt UT Point Score.
The first DTL event 25tgt Points had 2 shooters handle the heat and shoot a perfect 25 clean with one barrel in Roger Esplin and Matt Appleby, after a shoot off it was Roger coming out on top.

Over on the UT layouts the heat continued but the shooters shooting on Range 1 at least had some respite under the roof!! Chloe Hughes-Gage was shooting the lights out and won the Hughes-Gage battle defeating older brother Riley by 1 point and taking C grade with an impressive score of 269/300 (shooting an amazing 94/100 off the gun). The OA being taken out by Craig Henwood with 283/300. A huge thanks to Jacko for sponsoring the event that was greatly appreciated by everyone with some awesome cash prizes up for grabs, and your very own toy Jacko for the overall winner!
