A cold and windy day greeted shooters at MGC today with 8 squads competing in the 100tgt Bronze Wing Australia Double Barrel Championship.
The fire in the club house was the place to be but the rain held off for the majority of the day.
A full house for Come & Try in the morning kicked things off and a big thank you again to the MGC members who helped out with this, it is fantastic to have your support!
Using 3 grounds for the 100 DB and shooting 25t per visit, the event started right on time at 11am and was all completed at 3pm! This saw us have time to throw another 20tgt Continental DB event, with the last squads just getting through before the rains arrived.
Great shooting by Leonard Quirk in some tricky conditions to take the outright win with 98/100 only one target ahead of Damien Appleby, and C grade shooter Andrew Papasavva who recorded a great 97/100.
