14 squads of shooters competed in the full and overcast day at Melbourne GC, with 9 squads of DTL and 5 squads of UT competing for the day.
In the 100t DB it was Alan Bebend showing all how it is done posting the only 100/100 for the day with Rod Jackson on his heels with a new gun shooting through the last 97 straight to record 99/100 and take the A grade honours. Leni Harrison shot consistently well to take B grade and a short shoot off saw Frank De Nino win C grade from Owen Spencer.

On the UT layouts the flat program 8 was causing a bit of grief on ground 5 and it took until the 3rd rounds before a red was posted on the board.
Greg Hunt was consistent all day and took the OA honours will a well fought 93/100 from Steve Trembath who took AA grade with a great 92/100. Rocky Speranza also on 92 took A grade while the Bendigo Bank Model Liz Schroeter took B grade with 86. Steve Ziegler taking C grade after a shoot off with Joe Dagher.
