100tgt Double Barrel was the event for the day on Saturday 31st of January, a warm summer's day.
With 30 squads at Bairnsdale Clay Target Club for the Zone Shoot, we were delighted to have nearly 8 full squads competing for the day, along with Come & Try, a Shooting Australia training camp and regular practice available for UT, ISSF Skeet, 5 Stand and American Skeet making it a busy day at the club.
After 3 rounds Roger Esplin was clean on 75/75 but Emily Vassallo was only one behind him on 74/75. When the last round was shot both had recorded a 99/100 and a shoot off was required.
Another 23 targets in the shoot off to decide the winner, and it was Emily Vassallo coming out on top with a great score of 122/123 well done Emily!!
