BUTTIGIEG GOES 4 IN A ROW
Today was our Club Skeet Championship and it was fantastic to have 6 squads of Skeet Shooters battle out the event in very windy and overcast conditions making the targets very tough to shoot.
Michael Buttigieg has his name on this trophy 5 times including the last 3 in a row and all were anxious to try and stop him going a "fourpeat"!! After the first 50 Michael had made his intentions clear with the only 50/50 on the board and a 49/50 from Mal Briggs and a couple of 48's on his toes.
The 2nd 50 after a short lunch break the wind again picked up a notch and swinging around the opposite direction making it even tougher!! Another 50/50 to Michael and the trophy was his again for a 6th time. Well done Michael. It was also great to see Michaels son Francesco collect 2nd in C grade to keep it a family affair

In the DTL we had 8 squads battle it out, again conditions were tricky but having 11 months off might be the answer?? At least it was for Craig Patterson who took out the Overall in both our events. It is also great to see the battles in C grade with our 2 up and coming juniors in Ben De Pedro and Lucien Primavera who are improving each week and will have plenty of battles between each other over the years to come.
