MGC ANNUAL SCHÜTZENFEST
What a great day for our Annual Schützenfest. Typical Melbourne weather the day started fine and sunny and not a cloud in the sky! By the end of the day it was flogging down rain!! But a great day was had by all.
6 squads of DTL and 3 Squads of UT enjoyed the festivities with the club rooms all being decorated (thank you to the crew who took care of this). We also had Taiwan Gold Medallist Liz Schroeter in attendance with her medal on display and the award ceremony on the big screen tv. Onya Lizzie!!
3 Kontinental events were the order of the day for DTL and it was great to see in the Single Barrel event Junior Shooter James De Schwartz win his first overall win taking the honours!! Well done James the first of many to come!
The ever reliable Damien Appleby taking the honours in the Points and DB as well as taking out the OA High Gun. The Ladies High Gun was shared between Chloe Hughes Gage and Louise Tingate! Well done ladies!
