What a great day Saturday was at MGC!!! With 12 squads shooting the DTL and 5 of them and a few extras shooting the Skeet, a corporate day in the morning and a full house for a Come & Try in the afternoon, the place was buzzing with people on a beautiful sunny spring day in the Yarra Valley where else would you want to be?
The events were ran in conjunction with the Victoria Police State Championships and we saw some great results.
First event off the cap was the 25tgt Skeet event:
OA - Jacqui Durham 24/25
AA: Rich Sammon 23/25, Mark Coleman 15/25
A: Max Sammon 23/25; Damien Mould 19/25
B: Sarah Caldwell 25/31; Geoff McClure 24/31
C: Owen Spencer 27/31; Chloe Hughes Gage 26/31
OA Police - Greg Pegg 20/25
As the Skeet was concluding the DTL got underway with a few squads having to shoot out of turn due to shooters in that squad still shooting their skeet. By this stage the wind had well and truly picked up making it a tricky day to shoot
