To say we have hit the ground running since being back open from the major floods we received is an understatement.
11 squads of DTL and 6 squads of Trench competed in our first event for 2023 with some great prizes up for grabs.
A slab of Bronze Wing Australia or Nobel Sport Australia ammunition was up for grabs for the overall winner in each of the 4 events for the day! Some great prizes and something you will see a lot more of at the club on upcoming club comps!
Weather conditions were perfect nice and warm and clear sunny skies with a bit of a breeze coming up in the afternoon.
The whole day ran very smoothly and thanks to Charlotte in the office for keeping everything in control and all members and shooters for helping ref, score and backing up to keep the day ticking along, and also the trappers who kept the traps full at all times despite it being hot!! Well done guys.
Gerald and Jaeng kept everyone’s belts tight in the new cafe and we are slowly getting closer to being back to normal. A couple of glitches with our Skeet layouts on Friday practice will be rectified as Paul Schroeter is already onto a fix!
