Results – Saturday 24th May and Members’ Day 25th May

Saturday we had Jacqui and Co host a Come and Try day and a Corporate day with everyone enjoying the experience! Thank you to all who helped out it is greatly appreciated.

Competition kicked off for the 100tgt Mixed Targets with 5 squads in attendance and it was Lou Primavera who was on fire taking home the sash and the cash! Great shooting Lou!

A great day was had by all who attended.

Today we hosted a MGC Members' only day open to all Members both affiliated, recreational, club only etc.

The focus of the day was to introduce all of our members to the different disciplines our club has to offer and to introduce some of our members who due to their membership category, are not usually able to compete in competition in the hope to try and see them make the change.

90tgt Mixed comprising of 15 DB, 15 UT, 15 Sporting, 15 ISSF trench, 15 Cont, 15 Skeet with the Lewis Grading System in place.

12 squads of shooters entered for the day with everyone enjoying the different types of shooting our sport and club have to offer. A free lunch was also provided and I must thank my mother Moira Henwood for all her hard work helping with the food and Dean Naylor on the BBQ!

A great day had by all who attended and a huge thank you to everyone who helped ref and score where they could as we had a lot of people shooting their first ever competition and not knowing how to ref or score.

Thanks also to Amali for her work in the “bar” running the office, cleaning up and helping with the food!!
