Saturday 6th of December was the Annual Schutzenfest at MGC for DTL and the 2025 Club Skeet Championship
Continental was the order of the day with 5 squads competing on a wet and windy day (again)!!!
25tgt Points, 25tgt Single Barrel and 50tgt DB was the program of the day.
Ben Brown took out the Points with a great 74/75; A grade was Ryan Pitts on 72/75, Bianca Calvi 70/75 took B grade and C grade went to Lynden McKeon with 66/75.
Single Barrel was won by Darryl Johnston with 24/26 taking OA and A grade; Andrew Brady after a great shoot off with Chris Brown took AA with 39/42; B grade went to Geoff McClure on 23/25 and C grade to Steve Pellegrino on 19/25.
The Double Barrel was won outright by Ryan Pitts with 49/50 taking A grade as well, AA went to Chris Brown with 63/65; B grade to Andrew Reading on 47 and C grade went to Lynden McKeon on 39/50.
The OA High Gun went to Ben Brown, Ladies to Chloe Hughes Gage and Junior to Jack Brady well done all!
We had time for a novelty event 16tgt Continental off the Skeet pads - AA Ben Brown 13/16; A grade Jason Barclay 16/16; B grade Andrew Reading 16/16; C grade Lynden McKeon 7/16
A great day was had by all who attended!!! Hopefully soon we get some better weather for a Saturday shoot!!

Congratulations to RICH SAMMON for winning the 2025 Club Skeet Championship!
Battling a sore neck, some lousy weather and a heap of heckling from Michael Buttigieg during the lead up (and since) Rich held his nerve to win the shoot off with Laurie Durham after shooting a 96/100.
Well Done Rich!!!
