On Saturday 14th October 2023, 147 shooters competed on our grounds for the South East Zone DTL Carnival sponsored by Beretta Australia and what a fantastic day it was.
Melbourne's Team came out on top for the teams event for the day with Mitch, Ben, Damien, Daniel and Craig getting the job done for MGC! Well done guys!
But the good shooting didn’t stop there. Mitch defeated Craig for the Single Barrel Title and came 2nd in the DB Championship.
Dylan Naylor and Aimee Norris made the zone teams for the Jnr and Ladies respectively
Ben DePedro and Aimee Norris took out the Junior and Ladies High Gun for the Carnival with both picking up some prizes during the day for ladies and juniors.
Leonard Quirk and Tom Caldwell took first and 2nd in A grade in the single barrel.
David Orsetto picking up 2nd in C grade in the Points.
Many thanks goes to Steve Fox who won the slab of ammo for the door prize donated by Craig Henwood to donate it back to the club for the School program to use. Thanks Foxy!!
