We are open as usual for practice on Wednesday 3rd April, with most disciplines available.
This Friday 5th & Saturday 6th April, we are delighted to host the Australian Shooting Team for a training camp as they go through their final hit outs before departing for the Doha World Cup in Qatar. This is an important event as not only does it form part of the Olympic Qualifying events but it is the last international event for Australia to win important Quota places for Paris.
Whilst the team goes through its paces during the training camp there will be only very minimal disruptions to other shooters.
On Friday and Saturday the team will use Layout 5 for ISSF Trap & Layout 7 for ISSF Skeet.
Grounds available to all other shooters will be:
Ground 1 - ISSF Trench
Grounds 2-3-4 - DTL (including for Saturday comp)
Ground 6 - American Skeet
Ground 8 - 5 stand sporting
There will be no Universal Trench available on Friday or Saturday, however with most of the UT shooters in Echuca for Round 4 of the series this hopefully should cause no issues.
Also please note that for Saturday while we do intend to have Ground 6 available for American Skeet this could change if the layout is needed for DTL competition (due to a breakdown or larger than expected crowd).
It is great that we can host the team on our layouts and in a couple of months time we will also be hosting the Australian Junior Team prior to them departing for the Junior World Championships.
We apologise in advance for any inconvenience however please feel free to watch the guys and girls do their thing. Our cafe will be open on Friday and Saturday where you can buy a coffee or a lovely meal or snack.
